A team led by two Ophthalmologists (Glaucoma Specialist and Pediatric Eye Specialist) from JDWNRH started screening patients from four Gewogs of Upper Kheng, Zhemgang at Buli Hospital from 15th December 2021. The team will provide eye surgery and screening services simultaneously till 19th December 2021 for five days. COVID safety protocols adherence is strictly monitored by De- Suups and RBP personnel. 

Dzongkhag Administration also notified general population on specialized services at our doorstep through Dzongkhag Facebook page and other means. At the same time basic eye screening has been launched by Ophthalmic Assistant from Yebilaptsa Hospital since May 2021.
