His Majesty the Fifth Dragon King of Bhutan...

2nd June of every year is marked as the coronation day of our Great Fourth, His Majesty King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. It was on this very day i.e. on 02/06/1974 that His Majesty the Fourth Dragon King of Bhutan was crowned. To mark the great significance of the day, 2nd of June is also observed as the Social Forestry Day in our Country.

Thus, to mark this very significant day and also to commemorate the  presence of great leaders of past, present and future at helm of our nation in the form of gracious presence of His Majesty the Great Fourth, His Majesty the King and our Beloved Gyalsey Rinpoche, Zhemgang Dzongkhag inaugurated the Gyalsey Dumra, one of it's only kind in the Dzongkhag dedicated to Gyalsey Rinpoche.

The Dzongkhag Administration here prays for the long life and good health of their Majesties and all the Royal Family members. 

May the sun of peace and prosperity always shine over the Dragon Kingdom and may all the aspirations of their Majesties be realized without any hinderance.

The event was graced by Hon'ble Dasho Dzongda, Ven. Lam Neten, Dasho Drangpon, members of the business community, all the regional heads, sector heads, staff of the Dzongkhag and the general public.
