Your principles and actions must be a model of service to the people and country…” His Majesty’s Address to the Nation, National Day Celebration, 17 December 2007.

Coinciding with an auspicious day, the Royal Civil Service Award (RCSA) to the civil servants of Zhemgang Dzongkhag was held on 12 December 2020, at a special ceremony in the Dzongkhag Tshogdu hall. The officiating Dzongda Kinzang Dorjee awarded the civil service medals to the recipients.

During the award ceremony, the officiating Dzongdag underlined that this prestigious award is initiated by the Royal Civil Service Commission upon the Royal Command for the recognition of unwavering service and hard work of all the recipients. Further, he emphasized that it is a great opportunity for the recipients and all other employees as well to pay tribute and rededicate our commitment and loyalty to serve Tsa-Wa Sum.

A total of 41 civil servants (lifetime service award-3, Gold-3, Silver-5 and Bronze-30).
