The Ministry of Health was privileged to receive the prestigious award of Druk Thuksey Medal (Heart Son of Bhutan) from His Majesty the King during the 113th National Day Celebrations on 17th December 2020. Accordingly, Druk Thuksey Pin were awarded to all the employees under the Ministry during the 114th National Day celebrations on 17th December 2021.

 As a representative of Body, Speech and Mind to His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo, Honorable Dasho Dzongdag, Zhemgang Dzongkhag presided over the award of Druk Thuksey Pin to the staff of Yebilaptsa Hospital on Thursday, the 6th January 2022 coinciding with the 4th day of the 11th month of the Iron Female Ox Year on the Bhutanese Calendar in a simple ceremony held in the Hospital Conference Hall. It was also attended by officials from the Dzongkhag Health Office.  

A total of 58 staff received the pin in lieu of the Award.
